Recently, I have gotten on this smoothie kick. Why? I have no idea but I don’t really care. In the summer, I prefer to snack or have a lot of lighter meals because of the heat but find it hard not just to eat the same things over and over. Since my little smoothie addiction started, it has really helped me mix things up and eat better than I normally do. Here are some of my favorite fruit smoothies that I found on Pinterest.
Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie

Ingredients
1/2 Banana
3/4 cup of milk
1 tbsp chocolate chips
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp peanut butter
Smoothie Size: 8 ounces
If you use chocolate chips, ground them up first. This way they don’t stick anywhere because of the honey and stay whole chips. If you don’t want to use chocolate chips, the original recipe called for 3/4 tbsp of cocoa powder. If you want to make it more of a meal, you could add some uncooked oatmeal.
Strawberry Lemonade Smoothie

Ingredients
3/4 cup strawberries
1/4 cup vanilla yogurt
3/4 cup strawberry lemonade
Smoothie Size: 16 ounces
You can replace the strawberry with half a banana if you want to change it up but still keep it simple. I personally have made this so many times that I can make it without looking at the recipe. This is my go to if I want a lighter breakfast or a fruity snack.
Chocolate Strawberry Smoothie

Ingredients
3/4 cup strawberries
1/2 cup yogurt
2 tbsp chocolate chips
1/2 cup ice
Smoothie Size: 16 ounces
Oh, my goodness guys! This smoothie is to die for. It tastes exactly like a chocolate covered strawberry. The ice is a must though because without it, it’s just not cold enough. You may be able to solve this by leaving it in the fridge for a bit if you couldn’t use ice. And as an extra bonus, it’s super cute in the cup.
