Being an equestrian has its perks and there are many ways to represent yourself and your horse. You can go to shows, clinics, give lessons, etc. These are some of the common ways to represent but did you know you can become an ambassador or sponsored rider? Did you know you could help represent some of the newer or bigger name companies out there? A lot of times we may think this kind of thing is just for the professionals but guess what? Its not!! It’s for anyone who wants to apply that is part of the equestrian community.
What does it mean to be an ambassador or to be a sponsored rider?
When you think of becoming an ambassador or sponsored rider what do you think of? Do you think of representation? If you do you are on the right track!! It is a way to represent a lot of the newer or bigger name companies that are out there. A lot of them are looking for equestrians who want to wear their clothing and have their accessories, such as backpacks, water bottles, treats, riding boots, etc. These companies are looking to these individuals to get their items noticed and get traffic to their pages. Also they want others to become aware of the newer items coming out on their lines. Being an individual representing these companies you want to make sure you are going out of your way to do everything you can to help them out while sporting their cute gear!!
Being an ambassador and sponsored rider
Now that you have a clear understanding of what an ambassador and sponsored rider is you probably wonder why I chose to be one. I decided to be apart of this because I wanted a chance to represent some of my favorite brand companies at shows, while training at the barn and being my horse crazy self outside of riding. I want people to recognize who I am and who my companies are. Also I saw this as a chance to really help these companies grow by marketing their pages and products. Lastly I wanted to have a chance to really grow my equestrian gear collection for Spartan and myself. Each company has several items that I now own, love and use everyday. I am proud to be representing the following companies:
- Horseplay Apparel
- The Braided Mane
- Equestrian Flair
- Equine and Design
Sponsored Rider For:
- Tessie’s Treats
How do I find these companies?
If you are wondering how to find out who is looking for ambassadors and sponsored riders go check out different companies social media pages on instagram, twitter and facebook. Also check on their websites because that is where the applications are going to be located.
Becoming an ambassador or sponsored rider is an amazing opportunity and one that can help with being recognized as a rider. It gives you an opportunity to represent some fantastic companies that you can help grow and get recognition. Have fun and enjoy the journey if this is one you decide to take!!!
